We’re featuring a couple of exceptional kudos from our Mill Bay
Branch this Issue
Hi Heather (RV Sales Consultant),
Thank you so very much for all your help and expertise in selling us our new Travel
Trailer. We had a relatively easy time getting it home - just had to tighten up the sway
bar a few of times to twig it, as suggested by Wilf. Gord did have a problem figuring
out how to get the trailer off of the truck as the latch mechanism needed to be slid
back to disengage the tongue lock – we never went over this with Wilf or Gord forgot – just a note for others that have no mechanical aptitude.
We were very “gun shy” coming to your place after the attitude, run around and
unethical practices of other dealers – thanks for re-establishing the faith that not
everyone are money grabbers putting the bottom line first and the need to sell
over the customers best interest. I have tried to stress this importance to facility
managers I have taught at college for the last 11 years – especially for those who
missed marketing 101 – word of mouth is your most powerful form of advertising – but it can work for you or against you – the choice is yours. Return service and
other family purchases keep the first sale sustainable and can expand 10 fold.
Our local newspaper which serves the Sea to Sky Corridor (Lions Bay to Whistler/
Pemberton) has a section in it where you can give folks a “Dart” or a “Daffodil” i.e.: a
thanks or a reprimand. I will be putting a daffodil in it for you folks – yourself, Lana,
Jim, Wilf, and Rick (sorry to Greg for our dog wanting to eat him – nothing personal)
We have a huge demographic in the Sea to Sky Corridor of wealthy seniors, affluent
families and hard working families that may be interested in the products you sell. I
will send you a copy or two of the paper if they publish my submission – will see if
they take “out of town” thanks.
Again thank you for the Platinum Level care! The basket and card were lovely and I
know we will enjoy the toilet paper. We will be seeing you again when we come to
shop some more. Will say hi from you
to Helen in April.

Dear Lorne & the Team at
Arbutus RV!
You can’t imagine my
surprise and delight when
Lorne appeared at my
Retirement Party with such
a lovely bouquet of flowers.
Thank you for making my day
even more special.
June of 2003, only 2 months after
Garry & I got married your family became
a part of our dreams. Our Citation gave us such
great memories we will always cherish.
As we drew closer to my retirement it was time to move up & so Greystone came into
our lives! Whenever we spend time in it we can’t believe our lucky stars! Thanks to you
we are ready to start the next & most exciting part of our dreams “Travelling”!
We’ll try not to send too many “Wish you were here.” postcards and we’ll see you upon
our return.
Kindest regards, Marla
