President’s Message – Summer 2015

What an amazing Winter, Spring and now Summer we have been having! Truly a testimonial for why Vancouver Island is the perfect place for RV’ing any time of the year. And not only are we setting record temperatures on the Island this year, Arbutus RV is also setting new sales records. Which means that even more Islanders are taking to the Open Road in search of family adventures while enjoying the relaxing RV Lifestyle. For a lot of us this saying might make sense;

“No RV’ing, No Adventure, Know RV’ing, Know Adventure”!!

Twenty seven years ago we opened the doors to Arbutus RV & Marine Sales and welcomed the neighbourhood into what we hoped would be an exciting and adventuresome journey. And it has been!! Our very first RV we sold was to some good friends and school chums, Debbie and Randy McLeod. This June Randy & Debbie (along with one of their grandchildren) took delivery of a wonderful Class C motorhome to continue their adventures in during their retirement. Rose & I, along with the entire Arbutus Team, congratulate them on their exciting purchase and wish them lots of fun and memorable times ahead!

Their story as repeat Arbutus Family customers, although extra meaningful given that they were Arbutus’ first customer and friends, is not that unusual. Over the last 27 years we have seen lots of customers return, often bringing their siblings, kids, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and now even their grandkids to introduce them into the Arbutus family and all the benefits of the RV Lifestyle. We thank all of you for sharing in this exciting adventure called “Life” and for your passion to experience your next RV adventure!

And guess what…we have another RV Staycation planned with our Class of ‘72 Grad Committee buddies, at our place, the first weekend in July. We are looking forward to a good time with the “old” (maybe a bad choice of words) gang.

So what are you waiting for?
Join in on the fun!!

Craig Little, President & Owner, Arbutus RV & Marine Sales Ltd.
