I drove it home and managed to get it parked safely in my driveway, which, as I mentioned, was my biggest concern. I’m sure it won’t take long until I’m parking like a pro, but it will take a bit of practice.
Funny thing happened on the way home…I was waiting at a red light to make a left hand turn on to Bay Street, and happened to glance out my right window. There was some guy in his own little (and not nearly so nice!) van, smiling at me, giving me the thumbs up and “awesome” signs with his fingers. I guess it’s not often you see a woman driving a unit like that. Time to break the mould!
Thanks again for everything. I’m really, really excited, and grateful for everything. There’s nothing I need to do except put my things in it and get moving….can’t get much better than that!
